Rex Garage wins award for customer service in Didcot First’s Business and Community Awards - October 2012

We were delighted to be awarded first place for Customer Service in Didcot’s Business and Community Awards (BACA’s).

From Didcot First:

‘Now in it’s fourth year, the BACA’s are an opportunity for the town to recognise and reward winners and runners up in a range of categories.

In the Customer Service category for Businesses the judges were looking for examples of management and staff going the extra mile to ensure that the customer gets incredible service. Rex Garage was able to demonstrate this many times over when the judge visited the premises and customers testified to the attitude that ensured that customers, particularly women, felt ‘safe and secure’ and ‘respected and never patronised’. The Garage has clean and tidy premises, offering great service backed up by expert knowledge. Honesty, integrity and value for money are all ingrained in the philosophy of the Garage making them a champion in the field of customer service.’ 

Di Chesterman, spokesperson for the BACA Awards said ‘This year we’ve had an incredible number of nominations. Local people recognise that being nominated for and hopefully winning a BACA award is a significant achievement. It recognises the hard work that many Didcot based businesses put in day after day and year after year. We are thrilled that such a deserving company as Rex Garage are this year’s winner.’
